  • Doing volunteer work at the Dover or Sherborn Town Offices
     
  • Doing volunteer work with Dover or Sherborn Park and Recreation
     
  • Doing volunteer work at the Dover-Sherborn Child Development Center, Dover and Sherborn Extended Day Projects
     
  • Raking leaves for senior citizens
     
  • Shoveling snow and doing home repairs for senior citizens
     
  • Doing volunteer work at Broadmoor, Natick Community Garden
     
  • Doing volunteer work at Hale Reservation
     
  • Doing volunteer work at local hospitals
     
  • Doing volunteer work at local libraries
     
  • Doing school, roadside, or riverbanks cleanup
     
  • Doing voluntary projects at a local church
     
  • Working with the homeless
     
  • Working with the Animal Rescue League, Audubon and other animal care and environmental organizations, SCAT projects
     
  • Tutoring students who need support, peer counseling (outside of the basic course requirements) or assisting teachers in the Dover-Sherborn Schools
     
  • Doing volunteer work with local state and federal officials
     
  • Working at Special Needs facilities, i.e., Life Experience School, Walker School, Charles River School
     
  • International work:  Water pumps for Nicaragua project, working in kibbutz, repairing a church in Africa
     
  • Working with the elderly, the infirm and the disabled at local nursing homes, Meals on Wheels, North Hill, Woodhaven
     
  • Working with non-profit organizations:  WGBH, the local Historical Society, Dover Foundation, Sherborn Dollars for Scholars, Dover-Sherborn Education Fund, Natick Senior Council
     
  • Other projects:  Appalachian Service Program, Big Brother - Big Sister programs, Habitat for Humanity
